Occupy
The army of the people is on the rise
and the main stream media
has been up late spinning anything
to keep us blind
from seeing the army of people coming alive,
the group of people who want to
help equalize
our state of life
so that it helps more than just certain guys.
The demands are said to be unclear,
but with so many lies affecting so many people
which one do they claim as their grand prize?
The movement just wishes to first scream
and make people realize
how far our free market
has been compromised
and how voting for one guy will not work
when so many of the other guys on the inside
have reached a treaty
that will ensure them to stay greedy.
So they scream in the streets,
they fly their signs on the corners,
they bring this up in conversation,
in hopes to awaken the people
to again be people,
and for the government
to once again, make decisions
that are for the people.

No protester wants to take away
your football, material possessions,
beer, or TV’s,
or to be a complete socialist society,
but to have things be more fair,
to have a more even playing field,
to have the corrupt and greedy ousted
from their offices
so that we can get back to a place
where we have society advancing
and not only a few men’s profitability,
but above all, to have more people
living their life and not just
dreadfully paying for it.

The army of the people is on the rise
and the people are slowly being awakened,
until hopefully, the movement will grow so large
and so strong
from the people’s unity
that we will no longer just be demands,
but finally, the verdicts to our future.

The army of the people is on the rise,
and the question is,
are you on their side?
